the DOUBLE TRACKER is a FUZZ/SLAPBACK, which can be used both for incredible solos with the feeling of being “in a box” and for a very crazy noise generator and self-oscillations, based on the Noise esemble.
 
It is based on the PT2399 chip, for those who do not know, is the chip that is integrated in virtually all analog/digital delays with tape emulation on the market.
 
It is a fuzz because the circuit goes around the chip and what we get is a pretty beast Fuzz and a Delay of a single repetition super distorted and loaded with detunings, creating the effect of double signal.

It has 4 controls, VOL and BEND. With VOL we control the volume of the pedal and with BEND the delay time of the repetition. Note that the VOL control also acts as feedback, so from a certain volume you will start to hear noises and oscillations.

The BEND control is only actionable by the left footswitch, so it is only possible to get the fuzz from the pedal WITHOUT the delay.
apart from the potentiometers, the --DOUBLE TRACKER incorporates two toggleswitches that allow us to alternate, the first one between a LIGHT signal, brighter, and a DARK signal, darker. the second toggle allows us to alternate the delay between X1 repetition or auto oscillation, marked with an infinity symbol. 

WARNING: even if you turn off the delay, if you leave the pedal in infinity, it is very likely that the self-oscillating delay will still be present in your signal.
 
Inside the pedal there are 4 trimmers, to manipulate the sound a little more,
The first trimmer controls the voltage that enters the chip, this will produce distortion and repetitions mismatches.
the other three trimmers located below the chip, control the mix between repeats and dry signal, the amount of distortion generated and the stability of the signal. you will not get big changes, but you can try to see what new sounds you generate!
